Financing Your Graduate Education
The Neuroscience graduate program provides financial assistance for all PhD candidates accepted into the program. All students accepted into the PhD program receive a monthly stipend of approximately $1834 and 100% tuition assistance for their first year. Students are responsible for any student fees assessed by the university. It is expected that the students will choose a major professor who will then pick up their financial assistantship by the end of their first year and throughout their degree program. A completed master's degree is not a prerequisite to be considered for the PhD program.
Additional fellowship opportunities are available to Neuroscience students as well. Below are the fellowships Neuroscience students have been awarded in the past. Each awarding office has its own selection criteria that students must meet to be eligible for the fellowship or scholarship. When applying to the Neuroscience program, please make note in your application which fellowships for which you would like to be considered.
